Japan has agreed to host a special World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting in 2016

The government of Japan has agreed to host a special World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting, intended to bring together 2,000 leaders across the globe, the organization said in a statement Saturday.
“We would like to establish an effective organization of the Special Meeting in Japan and will be working with the World Economic Forum towards that goal” Japanese Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Hakubun Shimomura said during the ongoing 2015 WEF in Davos, Switzerland, according to the statement.
