Lithuania becomes 19th state to join Eurozone

Baltic state of Lithuania has become the latest and the 19th country to join the Eurozone. At the stroke of midnight on the New Year’s Day, Vilnius swapped their old currency litas in exchange for euros. The exchange rate is set at one euro for 3.45 litas.
