NATO to hold first meeting with Russia since 2014

NATO head Jens Stoltenberg said Friday the US-led alliance will hold formal talks with Russia to discuss the Ukraine crisis and other issues, the first such meeting since 2014. “Following consultations with Russia, we have agreed to hold a meeting of the NATO-Russia Council at ambassadorial level” Stoltenberg said in a statement. “This meeting will take place in the next two weeks at the NATO headquarters in Brussels” he added.
