Putin, Obama Informal Meeting Possible at APEC, G20 Summits: Presidential Spokesperson

MOSCOW, November 5 (RIA Novosti) – Moscow is not ruling out the possibility of informal meetings between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his US counterpart Barack Obama at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) and G20 summits, but separate meetings have not been planned, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told RIA Novosti Wednesday. “The leaders communicate at international summits one way or another, but separate bilateral meetings of any kind are not in plans now,” Peskov stated. The APEC summit is to take place in Beijing on November 10-11 and the G20 summit on November 15-16 in Brisbane, Australia.
