Excerpts from transcript of the final plenary meeting of the Valdai International Discussion Club’s XI session. The plenary meeting summed up the club’s work over the previous three days, which concentrated on analysing the factors eroding the current system of institutions and norms of international law.
PRESIDENT OF RUSSIA VLADIMIR PUTIN: Colleagues, ladies and gentlemen, friends, it is a pleasure to welcome you to the XI meeting of the Valdai International Discussion Club. It was mentioned already that the club has new co-organisers this year. They include Russian non-governmental organisations, expert groups and leading universities. The idea was also raised of broadening the discussions to include not just issues related to Russia itself but also global politics and the economy. (Full transcript)

MOSCOW – ARMY 2018
The exposition of the Russian Army-2018 international military and technical forum will showcase about 600 pieces of armament, military and special hardware, according to Russia’s Defense Ministry.

PARIS – EUROSATORY 2018
Eurosatory – the international land and airland Defence and Security exhibition, takes place every two years in order to gather the whole offer and demand of the domains. DSA is the most important defense and security exhibition in the Asian Region. The edition 2018 of DSA will take place from 16 to 19 April, 2018 in the new Malaysian International Trade and Exhibition Center MITEC.
